Facebook Timeline option is very basic for everyone now but as in our very last post we mention the how to enable timeline option for the fb pages which is also a very good option for fb pages which gives a new look to your pages but many times and some peoples are saying that fb pages timeline is not a good option.
How is FB Page Timeline is Good....?
- Facebook pages timeline gives us the 810 px wide tab which is good for bigger tabs views.
- You can use bigger images, pictures, texts, bigger html content like marquee, blink etc.
- New larger tabs icons in the range between 111px x 74px size.
- New Icons gives a new and good impression to others and get more visitors.
How is FB Page Timeline is Bad....?
- Your old content of tabs will still in smaller formats.
- You have to again customize it in bigger sizes, and also have to make changes in the coding.
- No Refresh on Likes (This is a very big issue for runing fan-gated promotions and for this reason I would recommend you do not upgrade to Timeline for pages early. When a non-fan click like on tab, currently Facebook does not refresh the pages so we can not automatically show the new fan content. You would have to prompt the fan to refresh their page manually. It is hard to believe this won't be fixed, but currently it is the main reason not to upgrade).
