Capture Images From Any Video Player Without Any Software

Today i am going to tell you how you can easily capture images from any video player without using any software. I know many people like to get some screenshots from their videos and for that they use video capturing tools but you are not at all required to use them. You can not only capture images from your videos but whenever required like you want to capture a images of a program on your computer. For example you are making a tutorial about a program and to explain it you need to some screenshots while using it so you can follow my method.

There are two methods from which you can use the second method for anything but the first method is only applicable to windows media player.

First method:
  • Firstly open the video with windows media player from which you want the screenshot.
  • Then press ctrl + I
  • Now a dialog box will open asking for the location and filename you want to use to save the image.(Remember one thing this method will only work with windows media player and with only those types of videos that are supported with microsoft so i recommend you to use the second method as it a universal method)
Second Method:
  • Firstly open the video with any player you want.
  • Then press PrtSc or Prt Scrn (depending upon your keyboard) key present on your keyboard.
  • Now go to paint (click on start then all programs then accessories and finally open paint) and paste there by right clicking and then clicking on paste or by pressing ctrl +v
  • Now if you want you can crop the image and cut out the parts of the image you do not want and edit it.
  • Then save the image with the format of your choice.
The second method is the universal method and in the same way you have capture images of your programs if you are making a tutorial or something. I know most of the people must be knowing this but i have written this tutorial for those who are not aware of this. I have made this blog to write everything in all so that not only professionals but also the beginners can learn something from it and one thing everyone knows "Old Is Gold". I know how confusing it is for the beginners as everywhere things are written in a complicated way and the most of the part is for professionals only. Enjoy :)
